Look, I know you're a UNI fan but that doesn't give you an excuse to be an idiot. Two teams from a crap conference being rated higher than ISU is the real joke. I know you have to take bad losses into account but you're totally discrediting good wins. Which UNI's only good win is the team right behind them who's only good win is freaking TULSA.

Where in my post am I being an idiot? ISU is 4-4 on the road. That is not good. They lost to TTU. That is pitiful. Those two things alone should keep them out of the top 10. I'm not saying ISU is worse than UNI by any means, but with their body of work up to this point, UNI deserves their ranking.

EDIT: I keep saying 4-8...they've got 4 losses in their 8 road games is what I meant to say.

We have 2 teams above us that haven't proven much but ok state and Baylor are rated too low as well. This is what rpi and the committee are for. Might as well call this a top 5 ranking plus let's reward teams who dodge tough schedules.

Except for:
Total wins
Conference wins (1)
Road wins

A 6 win team that is 4-8 on the road (not counting neutral court games) (2) and lost to Texas ******* Tech, in the top 10 would be a joke.
(1) l.o.l.
(2) who are you talking about here...

NC Central, Iona, and Murray St. are also better than Iowa State. Good to know for later on.

Kansas has 4 losses on the road, 3 in conference and the crushing at Temple.
Nothing pathetic about 4-4 on the road, with a strong likelihood of ending 6-4 for the year. That's actually very good.

So a team winning 26 games and half of those wins being against teams rated 200 or worse (7 of those being against 250+) in the RPI is Top 10 worthy?

how about a team that lost to Evansville?
how about a team that lost to Temple?
who is 4-8 on the road? ISU is 4-4 I believe?
Im so confused here
Yeah, people bring up Texas Tech, but nobody seems to care that Wisconsin lost to Rutgers. Maybe UNI and WSU should be ahead of them as well?

It is pretty obvious that UNI goes into Kansas, Oklahoma and Baylor and gets a win

Sad part is, no matter who wins between UNI and WSU on Saturday, the voters will get tight pants over whoever wins and move them up even higher, undeservingly.

Some voters are idiots. I'll have to check out the individual ballots later. UNI and WSU would lose both games we played this week and it's not close

The two games we won this week were games we were supposed to win. Most national voters would see it that way, only Big 12 people and ISU fans see those road games as what they are worth!

If Wich State is #11 they should be undefeated with only one challenging game. If you play it that way for ISU you definitely have to play it that way for teams with zero quality wins.

I posted this in the thread yesterday on this topic, Gonzaga is 4-1 against the Top 50 with their only loss @Arizona in OT, Arizona is 5-0 against the Top 50 (but has 3 losses to teams between 51-100).

I could see arguing that Gonzaga should be 5th or so, but calling them a "fraud" for basically playing the same schedule strength as Pac12 or B1G teams is harsh.

They have 19 wins against teams 100 or above. 1-1 versus top 25. With win being against #17 SMU. I'm not saying they aren't a good team. People were ragging on the AP. They are not the 3rd best team.
