Is this recruiting class done?

I thought Trey Green, Omaha’s Mokan teammate would be someone we’d be in on. I don’t know his relationship with Beliew though.

Edit: looks like he congratulated him a couple times on Instagram. Could be interesting.
They played together at Link too

Has this guy been brought up at all? The article is pretty recent and if someone went out to Australia to see him I would think they’re fairly serious even if no offer yet

Fish's is really interesting, his highlights are all below the rim plays. How would an unrated kid impact the overall class rating?
Sensing our coaches wouldn't care about class rating since they've pretty much got their 3 top priorities committed now. Maybe Fish is one of those guys where they see the exact type of player that was discussed above....one that won't leave for the NBA or be lured away by better offers to transfer, but instead a guy they could develop to be here for several years as a contributer in the program. (hope its not because Ward isn't coming)

But they'd probably still take a 5* center that wants to flip to the good guys.

Yeah, because TJ and Alison would have no other reason to travel to Australia. Heck, drop in and evaluate some of the Aussie talent and write the trip off as a business trip.
But, the kid might be a good player and find. I am just guessing they had the trip planned long before this kid was on the radar.

Duh, I completely forgot that’s where Alison is from. Same town too so yeah probably not as big of a deal as it initially seems

I think max wise we are sitting at 11. Jones, could stay another as well. (Before you dismiss him, he's a great out of the rotation security piece to have)

If we take a prep I think it would be a flip and would have to be a whale.

Realistically, I think we need another rim protector to split the 5 with Ward. Then the best shooter they can find to compete with Eli, Hamilton and possibly Grill at the 2.

I didn't exclude Watson, he's a 3 and will likely be depth for a Milan, Omaha, T King rotation at the 3/4.

You are always open to a great PG but with Williams, Lipsey and hopefully Freitag in 24 we're sitting pretty good.
Hell Jones gave us some quality minutes last year. If he can get more skilled with his back to the basket I could see him coming off the bench.

He's just a great teammate that works his ass off. Most importantly he knows he's playing above his pay grade. Thus works like he needs to earn it everyday. Having a body like that as an emergency guy is a huge benefit.

I’m a big Bob Jones guy. He was pretty darn good at staying within his role, working his ass off, and just bang down low. He’s the perfect guy to eat up 5 minutes.

Who cares about class rating?
most fans of any team are the same. When a class is ranked highly everyone is all excited about it, and very into the rankings. If the class is ranked low, fans talk about how overlooked/underrated the players in the class are and then cite players like mike rose as example.

I care because generally speaking, those teams that recruit at a high level consistently generally win more games than those teams the tend to consistently recruit at a lower level.

There are exceptions of course.

They really believe Fish to be a (now not so much) hidden gem.
