I know that I am getting ahead of myself, but I just despise the hawks enough that I want to get other peoples opinion on this game. I think that we will go in there and avenge the loss that we had in football, and hopefully still be able to win the CY-HAWK series and make it a CYCLONE STATE the way it should be!
 
Well, Pierce is gone - so we shouldn't have to worry about getting raped in Iowa City. *going to hell for that one*

I think it will be a very good game. Will need to see us play MN and UNI before I can speculate any further.
 
Pre-conference we will lose to Minnesota, UNI, Iowa, Bradley, and Ohio State.

Haluska will destroy us in his senior year.

I don't expect more than 5 conference wins. We will likely end with a losing overall record.
 
I dont know about that, I could see us going to the NIT. We have a lot of talent and are only going to be getting better. Hilton is going to be an extremely hard place to beat us in, we are bringing in 13-14 thousand people a game, Hilton Magic is back!

glad to see we have a pessimist here! I think we loose only 2 of those 5. Either from UI, Bradely or OSU.

we will see big strides in this weekends games!

Anyone know when tickets go on sale for that game? I know Clone fans have had success in the past since Iowa fans sure don't fill that museum up.
 
I think we have a very solid chance of winning a decent number of games this year. I'm thinking finishing at least around .500.

But seriously, we could definitely beat Iowa, and it would be much more painful for them than if they beat us (simply because we have basically a new team and we "shouldn't" win)

So yeah. Beat the Hawks. Heck, beat everyone, lol.
 
My wife just surprised me with tix on Friday. I forget how many rows are in the Mosoleum, but we got 23rd row tix. They person on the phone said there are lots left.

i'll be drinking it saturday as i tailgate. as long as you are of legal drinking age CP, i'll supply the beverages if you supply a driver!
 
I've got two tickets in section F, row 34. There are 43 rows in that place they call a Basketball Arena. I can't wait, Section F, right behind the Hawks Nest...someone might need to bail me out of jail...

Bud Light is much better. Actually, reminded me of a story. The night before the ISU vs. Iowa football game in Iowa City we had a taste test of Natural Light and Bud Light. We couldn't figure out which was which. Either way, both are better than Miller Lite.
 
I'd have to vote for Bud Lite or Golden Light. Sometimes i really hate the taste of Miller, unless youre talking about the Champagne of Beers.

No matter what you drink, Iowa City and its fans are much more tolerable when you have a few "pops" in ya.
