If Mac would have done the same thing for him that he says he will do for Brackins then he would have stayed. Blalock even said that he would listen to what Mac had to say before he made a final decision. The FIRST thing a new coach needs to do is rerecruit the new players and keep as many as possible unless you think you can bring in better guys. I guess Mac thought he could bring in better guys...

I guess to believe that I'd have to convince myself that Mac knowingly (and by choice) let a potential (and current 3rd team) all conf senior starting PG just walk out the door. Just can't suspend logic enough for that to be true.

Interesting perspective, since both Stinson and Blalock have made it clear that it was their choice to leave--and that it was a mistake.

Speaking of "excuses" mentioned elsewhere, you just seem to be trying to find an excuse to shove someone else's decisions onto McFermott's shoulders.
