The thing that always strikes me is that the ladies are great passers. A lot less dribbling and some really quick passing, and the ball gets rotated around in a hurry.

Haven't seen much women's ball this year. It's like slow-mo compared to the men's game.

If you're watching expecting to see a men's style game, you will be disappointed. It's definitely a different sport.

admittedly I know zilch about the womens game, but seems like Big 12 kind of doing the opposite of how it did in the mens tournament. Bubble teams and lower seeded teams winning.

Probably. I don't know for sure, other than we should probably keep that press off the court unless we need points at the end of the game.

The Big 12 has been notorious for under-performing in the tournament in the past. I wonder if holding the conference tournament a week earlier actually did help.

Kidd has matured a lot, I would love to see her hit some open 3's this half, though. Brynn needs to get on track or start driving the ball and dishing to the post when help commits.

They will keep shooting that high of 3-pt % if we continue to give them wide open looks and allow them to get in a rhythm beyond the arc.

I was unable to watch many games this season starting around the beginning of conference play (move/job change). Has Kidd fixed those foul issues she had at the beginning of the season? She used to pick up all sorts of stupid fouls due to over-aggressive defense, and I just realized I haven't noticed those recently.

Yes, she has corrected that and plays very well for a freshman. You may have noticed that she pulled up on offense and waited for the rest of the team when she could have tried for a lay-up. And she thought about going for a steel but put on the brakes and stayed in good defensive position. I believe she has played very well for a freshman and her future is bright.
