Up 3 for both.

So everyone's moved us up 2 or so. The guy who had us real low moved us up 6. Safe to say top 10?

I'm guessing anywhere between 8 and 11. I'm guessing 11 because we are Iowa State and that's the way things happen sometimes. When you're #13 versus #8, rankings don't matter a ton - just win. Though yes the rankings can definitely have an impact on your seeding come tournament time.

This coming week:

#1 Arizona will play at UCLA (12-2) Thursday night.
#2 Syracuse plays at Virginia Tech (8-5) Tuesday and then will host North Carolina (10-4) Saturday. I hate UNC, but I hope they knock off the Cuse from the unbeatens.
#3 Ohio State at #5 Michigan State Tuesday night. Huge game!! Ohio State probably would not fall more than 4 or 5 spots with a loss, since they are unbeaten and it would be a loss to a top 5 team. Michigan State would only be their 2nd loss, so they wouldn't drop too far, probably just barely out of the top ten though. Michigan State will then hose Minnesota (12-3) on Saturday.
#4 Wisconsin will host Illinois (13-2) Wednesday. Wisconsin is good, but not a top 5 team. They almost lost at home to Iowa last night. In fact, Iowa had that game under control until their ****** of a coach threw a huge fit and got ejected.
#8 Wichita State (will probably be #6 Monday) hosts Illinois State (8-6) Wednesday. Should be an easy win for the unbeaten Shockers. Wichita State then plays at Missouri State (11-3) on Saturday.
#11 Villanova (will probably be #8 or 9 Monday) goes at Seton Hall (10-5) Wednesday and then to St. John's (9-5) Saturday.
#12 Florida (will probably be #9 Monday) hosts South Carolina (7-6) Wednesday then goes on the road to Arkansas (11-2) Saturday.

IF Iowa State takes care of business this week, there is no telling how high they can be ranked by next Monday. A lot of top ten teams will be challenged this week.

I'm guessing 11th, based on last week's AP order.

Duke and Oklahoma State have to each drop about five spots for ISU to get to top 10, assuming Oregon gets dunked below ISU (which ought to happen — No. 20 at home over No. 10.)

Every other team above ISU won't dip. That isn't exactly how I'd rank it, but that will be how it lands.

X-Factor is Duke — if voters think Notre Dame is "bad loss," Iowa State reaches 10th.

There is no doubt whatsoever about that being a bad loss.

#1 Arizona
#2 Syracuse
#3 Ohio State
#4 Wisconsin
#5 Michigan State
#6 Wichita State
#7 Baylor
#8 Villanova
#9 Florida
#10 Iowa State

Interesting because I think by March, the best teams aren't on this list. I could be wrong though.

I'm going with 9. I think ISU jumps Florida this week just because of the zero loses compared to Florida's 2. Same reason ISU will be ahead of both Duke and Okie State.

Tomorrow: #7 Baylor @ #9 ISU @ 6PM on ESPN 2 followed by #4 Ohio State @ #5 Michigan State @8PM on ESPN.
