Neat. I guess I didn't realize that the word stereotype only applies to race...
Why not just say the stereotype then? You mentioned opinions are formed around demographics. Which demographics are you referring to?

The best steak you'll ever have in your life is at Keith's Cafe in Memphis, Mo.
This feels like a cave thread. Are we really trying to send a thread about Popeyes chicken to the cave?
It's been a while since I ate there since I moved away but the family that owned Keith's raised a lot of cattle and all the beef in their restaurant was raised by the family. At least that's how it was 20 years ago.I've eaten there, but all I remember are the hundreds of coffee mugs hanging from the ceiling. Not sure if they're still there.
Best steak I've ever eaten was at home. Raised it myself.
'Popeyes chicken is awesome.
love Popeyes and used to eat at the MH location a lot going to Bucs games, but not so after hearing about the owner's management style. To get past the point that people don't like Popeyes because of "stereotypes" (whatever the hell thats supposed to mean), there does seem to be something uniquely wrong with the Ankeny Popeyes. I had eaten at the Merle Hay and Altoona ones before and thought they were fine. Nothing much negative stood out. If you look at the ratings the Ankeny one is a point lower than the other 2. For whatever reason that location seems to be exceptionally poorly managed.
Clearly not a big Adam Sandler fan.meh it's ok.
I recall several 'impartial' blindfolded taste tests a few years ago held by haters of Chik-fil-La. They claimed Popeye's chicken sandwich was superior to Chik-fli -la's
