Iowa pees down it’s leg

Are Desmond King and Josh Jackson still playing? I thought they were both done.

Jackson was the one that I thought was out of the league. King was on the Texans this year but I don't think he played. quick search shows him on the Ravens practice squad currently

Here is my prediction for their season. I'm not sold on Wiscy, USC, MSU or Minn being very good. I am also of the opinion that Indiana has to "prove" that this year wasn't a fluky year (sort of like TCU a couple of years ago). The fact that Iowa gets their toughest conf games at home also helps them.View attachment 140318
I would bet my house they don't win in Lincoln next year. Nebby has a real QB and they are due to lay one on Iowa.

They will struggle getting a win @USC and @ Nebraska, even though they have had Nebraska's number, I have to believe that winning streak will end next season. 6-6 final record.

Other than mighty Albany and UMass, I don't think I see any other games where Iowa will be the projected favorite at the beginning of the season.

Gonna go out on a limb and say Iowa doesn't qualify for a bowl next year. I would also predict Kirk gets paid to "retire" at the end of a very long season, but I'm skeptical Iowa will have the cash to make that happen.
I’m out there on the same limb. The Jethro Bodine segment of their fan base is going to move on to some other team to identify with, once they become perennial bottom feeders.

Please don't mention Desmond King as I am a Charger fan. Also, please don't mention Nate "Mr. Regular Season" Kaeding. :)

How confident are folks that he’s in Nebraska next year? He’s shown enough flashes for a guy like Kiffin to send his hoards of donors after him. A big payday may make him feel more like MaHomes and he just won’t be able to say no.

Agree... except they aren't going to beat USC in LA.

Angerer was very complimentary of us after our game with them, so I’ll give him credit for that. But he is absolutely horrible as a color guy.
I've listened to him some, when they are losing he just clams up, and you can tell he's mad. I'm guessing he grows into the job, he certainly is passionate enough about Iowa.

It’s a bad combo with dolphin being so slow to describe what’s happening and angerer not being able to stop himself from blurting things out.

Their schedule gets a lot tougher next season, they get Penn. St, Oregon and USC, plus their games vs Wisconsin, Nebraska and ISU are all on the road next season, instead of home games like they were this season.
That's a play off schedule if you win them, that's how the Hawks need to look at it.:D

Most likely would be, but I just do not see EIU pulling that off and going 10-2 or so with that schedule. This was the year that they everyone returned and was supposed to be the playoff team. Their O line had the most returning starts of any team in the country, their defense returned everyone pub the DeJean kid, and they still only won 8 games with a very easy schedule compared to next season. They lose 2/5 on the Oline, their entire LB core is gone, their running back left early, as he should, and they still have QB problems.
For them to win 10 games next season means getting every break possible and for them to have multiple players step up and preform at a very high level. Just do not see that happening and them struggling to be 6-6 at the end of the year.
