anyone know where to get them. looked on stub hub, ticket city, etc but cant find anything under $140 really. just curious if there is anywhere cheaper or through the ISU ticket office. would love to go but not sure if i want to at that price.

Two years ago walking around outside Kinnick and we heard a scalper ask for $65 to a Hawk fan and I walked up and asked just to see what it would be. He saw the Iowa State clothing and it went up to $110

I'd probably do the same thing.

Go through the ISU ticket office.
how would i go about doing that? i looked on cyclones.com and it said for away games, season ticket holders would get an email. i dont know if that applies to student season ticket holders or what, but i havent recieved an email

you'll find nothing at the ticket office. those 3000 (or so) tickets go to season ticket holders first, and they will all be purchased, no doubt.

Just my opinion.

Once there was this thing called the telephone. It didnt use this here "internets" and you had to actually talk to someone. Give them a call Monday...I dunno if they're open today.

Thats why you wear a hawkeye shirt to buy your tickets from the scalpers, then once you get the ticket, change back into your cyclone clothing.

But how do you accomplish that? I can't get my fingers, hands, and arms to cooperate and function to get the damn thing on!

I know, it makes you feel really dirty and gross, but you just have to think positive about tricking a hawkeye scalper into thinking you are one of them. After you take it off, use the shirt as toilet paper.

Call the ticket office. It applies to student season ticket holders. We always bought road game (including Iowa in 2006) tickets through the University.

Its been my experience that scalpers do not care one wit about who's in the seat, they want to get as much as possible for the ticket. I am doubting your story

depends on the 'scalper'. if it is someone who is doing it for purely business reasons, I would agree. If it was an iowa fan who was trying to unload a couple extra tickets, I would believe it.

If the guy already had a ticket, I could totally buy it. I'm sure you'd see the exact same thing in Ames with a Clone fan charging more $ to the visiting Hawk fan.

I'll bet you're wrong here. We return tickets to Iowa nearly every year. I got some in '08 from the ISU ticket office also.

Here's your best bet.

I just had the need for a couple more come up as well. I'm hoping that I can call the ticket office on Monday and add 2 to our original order.
