I’m in the minority that doesn’t think this one will be all that close. The crowd will cry for stall calls while Iowa stalls it’s way to several decisions.

125 - Kysen Dec ISU 3-0 (assumes no Lee)
133 - Iowa (either) Dec 3-3 (I’m not encouraged by Redding and his weight management, but maybe Ramazan can win it)
141 - Woods Dec Iowa 6-3 (I love Casey, but Woods has been there and is elite)
149 - Murin Dec Iowa 9-3 (Paniro has a higher ceiling than Max, but this is a real tough spot)
157 - Siebrecht Dec Iowa 12-3 (this one scares me as a potential fall)
165 - Carr Dec Iowa 12-6 (not sure that we will see many bonus points for Carr against ranked 65 guys and PK will be juiced up)
174 - Brands Dec Iowa 15-6 (Brands will get up and then do absolutely nothing. I have little faith in Julien in this one)
184 - Coleman Dec Iowa 15-9 (would love a Marcus stick here)
197 - Warner Dec Iowa 18-9 (similar to 174)
285 - Cass Maj Iowa 22-9 (not much to say about this one, Cass is just better)

I forgot about Chittum. He’s a Swiderski type hammer and I love watching him wrestle but I don’t actually know how old he is. Is he 19 or is he 20? Either way he’s too old to be wrestling Hs kids

Yep. Chittum, Jesuroga, Keuter are legit top tier blue chippers. Arnold and Block are very good add ins to that class, but the first 3 are the real deal guys who will be competing for national championships.

I can't imagine why he'd kill himself to get to 125 just so Lee can take the spot in a month

Nah. I don’t think he hurt the situation but I don’t think he did anything to help the situation.

Not even close. Jesuroga isn’t even close to being ready. Guys with any length will cause him fits. Arnold has regressed or stayed flat throughout his his high school career. Kueter is the jewell and how much he will wrestle is a big unknown. Ryder is good but not close to Swiderski level. Definitely a top class but this class is fairly weak at the top. Chittum is a stud but not sure how good of a folkstyler he will be.

As others have said several times, I'm pretty excited to see Naak vs. Arnold this year. Linn-Mar and City High are at a few tournaments together, including this Friday in Coralville.
