Incoming Freshmen Update

Talked to Clayton the other night and he said that he is rooming with Brackins and Boozer and things are going well. (Boozer showed up in a '05 Escalade)

The top 5 players from last year played the incoming freshmen in practice the other day and the freshmen won.

Sounds like things are going to be pretty exciting the next few years from what I can gather.

I was walking to class today and in front of the library area, there was a kid on campus for orientation (could tell by the red backpack, orientation folder, and "Seniors 07" t-shirt). I am guessing he was probably around 7ft and decently bulky, maybe 240lbs. Anyone have any idea if he's a bball player or what not? Just thought I'd ask because I haven't heard anything about it.....

Well, all the girls looks damn fine, and quite a few of the moms aren't too bad looking either. So far this summer, I've gotten evil glares from over a dozen fathers, and about 4 from husbands. Looks like a good incoming class.

Well he was white and had darker hair.....

Kind of eliminates both of those options

anyone else noticed this as of late? back in the day Iowa State never had JACK as far as hotties, but now they seem to get hotter every year. Here at UNI, we used to have a stranglehold on all the states' and surrounding good looking gals, but looks like they are all sneaking away to ISU. sidenote - as for U of I girls, there can be some definite hotties, but in my travels I have always found them to be way too easy bar skanks with about 7 sexually transmitted infections apiece.

true true. I've been to the Hooter's in Tempe and I've yet to find one with better 'scenery'.

Fayetteville (AR) doesn't compare to Des Moines (which doesn't make sense since there's TONS of hotties roaming around down here) and Des Moines comes no where close to Tempe.

And we can assume that the Escalade came from Big Brother. We know it did not come from a booster, as has been known to happen at some other institutions of higher learning. I'm thinking U of Mich and the fab five?

We used to frequent the bar above Hooter's, the Owl's Nest (great name by the way). Let's just say the view of the Hooter's balcony from above was very 'nice'. :yes4lo:

I was a fequent visitor of Malony's (on Campus) Tempe, not the Scottsdale Location. Also there was a Senor Frogs not to far from there that had a great ladies night so there were tons of girls. It went out of business last I knew. I also got into it with Michael Carbajal and his crew one night at Styx and Jett's in Scottsdale. On paper it did not look good for me. Once I tell you that Carbajal was about 3 feet tall 100 pounds and I was with my Marine Corps Platoon it looked better on paper for us. FTR Carbajal was a world champion boxer for those of you who don't know.
