If ISU wins the next two

It's not that we aren't confident in the team, it's just we are all expecting a kick in the nuts from being Cyclone fans so long.
Should start to get over that pretty soon, shouldn't we???

I mean, there was a Friday night back in November that was a HUGE dose for me...

Anyways, back to what this thread is about. I think that if ISU can get through this week with two more wins, they will fall between 24-28 depending how the teams ahead of us behind them fair.
At the same time though the top 25 is merely superficial in my mind, I'd much rather see them keep up with MU, KU, and Baylor in the conference. Do that and the rankings will take care of themselves.

Well it's annoying the lack of confidence people have in this team.

If you had ANYTHING other than "Go Cubs" in your username, I probably wouldn't feel like slapping the taste out of your mouth for chiding someone about not having confidence in the team.

Yeah, you don't want to drink 21's Kool-Aid. You just don't know what actually might be in it.

That's alright, you're new here. You'll learn.

Yeah I don't see it happening. Teams in the top 20 don't don't drop all the way to being non-ranked very often.

Between 20 and 25, no one really has a tough schedule. Wisconsin and Harvard are our best hopes. Harvard's problem is they play no one, at the same time if they do drop one they will be out in a heartbeat and they are bad enough that they could lose one of their remaining games. Who knows when though. Wisconsin is probably our best shot for getting in this week. They have had a rough patch and have some tougher games this week. If they drop one they might get kicked out of the rankings.

If everyone between 20-25 wins, ISU does not get in even with two wins this week.

Check that- Michigan is the one that has had the trouble lately, however they have a easier schedule this week with @ Neb and home against Ill. Wisconsin has a tough schedule (@Minn, @Ill) but they have beat several ranked teams lately so loses in tough games will likely get forgiven. We need to cheer for Michigan to drop one. In all I don't see it happening.
