It's also possible that it's our own government doing all this as a strategic ruse for the Russians & Chinese.

Expose non-existent fantastical tech.
Rivals assume it's USA tech and freak out how far ahead we are.
Rivals deterred, or at least given tremendous pause about taking a shot at the title.
Rivals spend a lot of time, money, and resources working on a red herring.

Worked with SDI on the USSR.

How's that for meta level conspiracy theory?
You aren't gonna fool the Chinese. They've already stolen and improved any significant tech we've got. They've also got a presence on the moon, a rover on Mars and a Space Station under construction. They are not to be trifled with.

I 100% believe there are UFO's. I 100% do not believe they are anything related to aliens.

I'm the exact opposite. If Williams wouldn't bring it up I wouldn't think about it at all. As soon as he starts talking about it on a pod I just turn it off immediately. Again I don't think it's impossible there is other life. I think it's certainly possible but I would lean on it being unlikely. I think it's possible aliens have come here but I think that's almost zero, not even worth thinking about.
I don't get how some people can say they don't believe in aliens because "I have never seen one with my own eyes," yet they believe in a made up being that supposedly created everything.

UFOs are real. I have had two sightings myself. Who was driving the things? Hell if I know. I think there are legit alien UFOs and man made UFOs that we somewhat successfully reverse engineered. But I have seen way too much in my lifetime to believe that we are alone in the universe. I am convinced that we are not.

Ancient human civilizations left us plenty of clues. And how do you explain the pyramids? Stonehenge? I highly doubt that man could have built those structures back in those times. I think that these serve as energy sources for UFOs. Or at least they used to. But I think THAT species left our planet long ago.

The "greys" are probably still here though.

One thing to think about.....

There have been talks about humans colonizing Mars in the next decade. This is a dumb idea, for several reasons. The "greys" have been monitoring us for over 70 years and are concerned with the way we abuse our planet. There is no chance they would let us destroy another one.

Good stuff. No worries about us colonizing Mars any time soon though. I’ll be surprised if we even get manned mission their in the next decade. Hopefully in my lifetime we will.

While those are brilliant works of engineering, and it's astonishing that ancient humans were able to create some of those structures, modern archaeologists have come up with plenty of plausible ways for their creation. Sadly, part of the "it must have been aliens" narrative is racist in nature.

Footnotes. Mounting but as yet tentative evidence of life on Mars.
Martian visit #1:
A prominent Microsoft executive called ALH84001 ‘the biggest insult to the human species in almost 500 years’. Zare’s lab had to temporarily take down its website and contact details after religious fundamentalists complained that its research contradicted the Bible.

And with the reputation of their field at stake, many scientists, too, were gearing up for the furious response. Twenty years and dozens of studies later, the results have largely stood up to scrutiny: the consensus is now that the rock’s intriguing features did indeed form on Mars, with the carbonates deposited in a watery environment at temperatures around 25-30°C.

Martian visit #2:
The curious mineral formations in ALH-77005 now join a growing list of tentative evidence for ancient life on Mars. If they can be confirmed, it would be one of the most exciting discoveries in planetary science, and in human history.

The Drake equation was predicated upon the notion that there is a finite number of currently existing alien civilizations ensconced among the stars, some of whom will be signaling their presence to us using radio or optical lasers. However, this ignores another school of thought which holds that ET’s far better strategy would be to send physical probes to our solar system to surveil and ultimately make contact with us. Such probes could represent information from innumerable civilizations, many of whom may have long ago perished. If this is the case, Drake’s L is irrelevant, since the probe might far outlive its progenitor, and his N reduces to one, the single probe that makes its presence known to us through which alone we might communicate with the rest of the galaxy.

I was kind of hoping we would send our drone over to their rover and zap it. LOL.
