I’m fine with it. They are such pretentious animals expecting so much from us.

Monkeys are well equipped to quickly climb tall palms and pick coconuts.

So I assume they should stop using elephants around the world for heavy labor. They should stop using horses and oxen around the world for pulling wagons and farm implements or for riding. We should stop using dogs for herding, hunting, tracking and police work.

Yes, living conditions of the animals should be monitored, but there are a lot of animals that we use for "forced labor" and we have for millennia. Just because PETA doesn't like it doesn't convince me that it is wrong.

I imagined monkeys pulling levers. I don't have too much of an issue with monkeys picking coconuts, though I had imagined a shaking machine like olives rather than a monkey.

A few years ago at the Omaha Zoo we witnessed a monkey pleasure himself and throw his seed at another monkey. Idle hands.....

Odd, last time I was at the Omaha Zoo the 2 tortoises’ were doing it tortoise style. Bunch of depraved perverted animals at that zoo. Of course I watched.
