How much would you pay?

I'm not worried so much about having a "quality" win as I am about having a "win".

Lose tonight and we likely end the non-con 8-4 (not counting Auburn which probably makes us 8-5). We'd have to win 10 games in the Big 12 to even be sniffing a shot. Iowa and Oregon St. would be bad loses come tourney time.
18 wins is a lock for us to get into the tourney, not sniffing at the chance.

If we're on the bubble, we're in. If at the time, Tyrese is still being talked about as a potential lottery pick, they'll put us in the field. The respect the committee has for ISU helps our odds as well.

You said we’d need 18 to sniff a shot. 18 we’re solidly in. 17 we’re sweating it. 16 is real danger territory where we’re probably on the outside looking in.

The problem is the Big 12 isn't as strong as past years and I don't feel 18 is a guarantee, especially if you have loses to Oregon St. and Iowa.

I mean, either one of us has just opinions at this point. I feel that ISU has a strong enough and recent enough reputation that 18 wins gets us for sure in.

I had to go back and look, but sure enough, Oregon St is still sitting pretty at 7-1. When we lost to them a month ago, many posters on here, Chris Williams included, said Oregon State would be a tourney team. I'm confused why you would consider them a bad loss?

Iowa, I totally get it.

Because I don't think they will be a tourney team.

Less than I'd pay for a win over any conference opponent. I mean, **** Iowa and all that, but to me the Big 12 is much more important. Let the chips fall where they may.
