How does ISU define if JTS is sold out?

AD tweeted earlier today that UNI game is sold out. Single seat tickets look to still be available for purchase on cyclones.com in about 20 sections as of 4:30 p.m. Is a sold out stadium a stadium with all tickets sold or not? No complaints, just wonderin'.

When they get to the 61,500 number would be my guess. Actual capacity is a little higher than that, but there's a little more flex when you have the hillsides versus some other places capacity numbers (ie that's why ours is rounded to an even 500).

Not sure, there is at least one pair of tickets together available now so its not the only singles remaining standard either. Guessing in this case it was more a marketing ploy to get some additional media coverage. Looks to be maybe 100-200 seats available max so I'm sure it will actually be sold out by kickoff regardless.

Remember a few years back when Barta announced an iowa game was sold out and yet you could still buy 20 tickets together online up until kickoff and a few thousand fans, all sitting in the same sections, decided to come dressed as empty seats? yeah, this isn't anything as egregious as that. Or nebraska's fake sellout streak.

Those could be season tickets that were already purchased and returned. Sometimes some odd ticket available pops up, such as when someone switches to a luxury box or the AD balcony.
