Don't get your cobs confused. There are brown cobs and white cobs. Use the brown cob first. Then use the white cob to see if you need another brown cob. Got it?

I boil them in my Turkey Cooker outside or grill them in the husk on the grill. Butter and just pepper. Keep the heat out of the house.

Pull back the husks, butter and season the corn, then put the husks back down, wrap in foil and grill. The butter really soaks through the whole ear.

Grilled with/without husk or microwaved with the husk. I grew up on boiled corn and I would never make it that way again.

Boiling is what I grew up on. I really try and limit usage stove and oven usage when its swamp ass conditions out and heat up the house.

Same. Though I'll put them on the grill if I have a fire going and there is room for them. Grilled corn is good but I don't think there's a huge difference. It isn't like brussell sprouts or something where boiling them makes them barely edible and grilling them makes them delicious.

Preferred and easiest method that I've used is plugging in the old reliable Oster steamer. The best $3 garage sale purchase ever. This method is the faster than boiling and preserves more sweetness and nutrients. Distant second choice method is boiling with milk and butter added to the water in the pot.

Usually boiled but will grill with husk on some times. If it grill I will soak them in a bag of water for around an hour before I put them on the grill. The extra moisture steams it better I think and prevents the husk from getting too charred
