8-4 would be a successful season. I would, of course, love to see more wins, but we won a lot of nailbiters where we just ended up on top (somewhat luckily last season) and I expect us to regress to the mean a bit. The Iowa win last year where we were losing all game and then had a few crazy plays to snag victory at the end and the UCF and Utah wins where we came from behind. A lot went right for us last season. Hope it happens again, but I'm preparing the nut cup and trying not to go too crazy with expectations like some. Hope it's another double-digit win season!

The Big 10 has the worst QBs in P4 and it's been that way for 30 years. It's especially true for Big 10 west teams. They've feasted on these teams. The problem is the Big 10 is still weak on QBs.

I do like bringing ASU up to Ames in November.
My hope is we’re both at like 1 loss or something and highly ranked, and it’s a prime time game.
I hate to agree with him but we always struggle with Iowa even when we look back at the end of the year and have had the better season overall.
KSU-Who tf knows. KSU also has tendency to start slow at times, and i think they have more unknowns for week 0 than ISU does with injuries/new coaches, but could see it going either way here. Give me a W for now

If the ball doesnt always bounce the right way, then 9-3 is still super realistic. IMO anything less is a massive disappointment, and after being an ISU fan for 30 years, I cant believe im actually saying that out loud

Plus we have Big Citrus, an absolute behemoth. If these transfer receivers are mid, it may be a 7-8 win team. I'm guessing Sowell is legit and the UCF guy will have better numbers for us since the passing game at UCF was total ass last year.
