Hilton Noob Question

Haven't been to a BB game in a long time due to living too far away. Do they play that depressing Bells of Iowa State song that brings down the crowd at JTS in Hilton as well? I would love that to disappear from the game day experience.

When Mizzou comes to town, and their coach gets up and fusses, make sure you yell: "Sit DOWN Norm! Sit DOWN Norm!" Old school style.

I remember some ROARING chants of "Sit Down Norm!". I love Hilton. I miss the Big 8, too.

Isn't the last thing they play the "Where oh where, are you tonight, why did you leave me here all alone?" I've always thought that was pretty clever.

It's the alma mater, dude, it's not going away.

After a win, after the alma mater is played, the band plays "Celebrate", then "Where oh Wlhere", then the Looney Toons sign off. After a loss, they skip "Celebrate".

The coolest thing the bad does (IMO) is after they're done playing, they sing the alma mater in four part harmony, and it's beautiful.

I'm very short; I don't like to be in big moving crowds because I feel trapped, so we leave very slowly after the herd has thinned a bit. Consequently, we get to hear that after every game when most of the crowd doesn't even know it happens.
