3A - Fr. Knight (113, Bettendorf)
Jr. Christensen (120, Waukee NW)
So. Hinson (126, Ames)
Jr. Naak (138, Linn Mar)
So. Diaz (145, WSR)
So. Helgeson (152, Johnston)
Fr. Mickel (195, Ames)
Fr. Ross (195, Ft. Dodge)

There are ISU connections with Knight, Hinson, Naak, Helgeson, & Mickel.

2A: So. Hedeman (113, Laporte City)
Fr. Fox (120, Osage)
Jr. Kittlelson (132, Osage)
Jr. Stangel (145, Osage) - probably the best 2A undergrad.
Jr. Sampson (182, Ballard)
So. Christensen (220, Ballard)

1A:
Jr. Kellen Smith (152, West Hancock)
Jr. Maximus Magayna (170, Columbus Catholic)

The freshman class seems to be real solid as several did well at State. The Jr. Is extremely weak at the top end compared the the last few Iowa classes.

Baby max could probably be fine if you make sure his dad isn’t an issue.

There’s several on your list with the same issues.

Whoops, 89s list I mean.
To put it plainly, “Wrestlers are a different breed.”

I wrestled and thought I was a wrestler. Once I got to college; I quickly realized I wasn’t a wrestler. Wrestlers are a different breed.

The parents are just a tiny bit below girls AAU basketball level.
