For road-combo, it's at or near the top.
I like the Bruce-era throwbacks, too.

Agreed. The amount of recruits we've lost because our entrance music isn't cool is just getting ridiculous. And I don't even want to count how many recruits we've lost now because of Sweet Caroline!
Funny how people's "best" uniform picks just happen to be from winning games (07 Iowa throwback, 09 Neb, 10 UT).
The white/white road combo was hailed as sharp when beating Iowa, but somehow turned to an absolute eyesore when losing games.

With the cardinal-white-cardinal combo, ISU lost at KU, Texas A&M and Missouri in ’09, and at Iowa, OU and CU in ’10. And I still like the look. Won at Iowa, TCU and Kansas in ’12, and I don’t like the look as much.
I like the ’07 throwback because it liked it when it wasn’t a throwback.
Not an eyesore at all and no one has said that. Cardinal pants are just better. Would like to see white pants and cardinal tops at home.
My only real complaint in this space is getting away from the old away uniform look completely. I don't think we've worn it since 2010.
I know there is a loud portion of our fan base that thinks the home uniforms are horrible, but I like it. I would like to see an alternate helmet option like the white helmet from the equipment crew that floats around a lot.

I do have favorite uniforms (I also like the old away jerseys that were red/white/red), but I always find it hilarious when so many red blooded manly sports fans get so bent out of shape with yellow vs gold, or what hue this color is, or how these colors specifically pop against others, ect.

Except the Hawk's Old Gold. That is terrible. Nothing like our gold. Which is amazing.

Seeing the phrase "New Jerseys" keeps making me think we are playing Rutgers in New Jersey. Can we stick to "New Uniforms?"

I don't mind our new Uni's. Don't like the Cardinal pants though. Just look like a weird shade of red to me for some reason.
I don't have a problem with the new uniforms but honestly with how small the changes are I don't know why we would even bother making a change. Do something fresh and cool or don't bother. On another note, I am hoping to get my mind in football during the B12 media week. Right now I am 100X more excited for my son's senior year of HS FB to start then I am for ISU. That said I bought 4 season tickets again this year so I hope some early success can change that.
If there is not early success, there will be ZERO success this season. That's what I'm looking forward to. I can hope we start hot and get to 5 ish wins right away. Then it gives me hope to watch to hopefully pull an upset for win 6.
We lose to UNI and.. yeah. Done watching for the year.
