I don't think we will do Jack Trice throwbacks again until 2023. That would be the 100-year anniversary of Trice's death. Hope we do it right then.

I mean, we all knew what was coming when the "new" jerseys were leaked a long time ago... basically some changes in the quality of them with a few slight design changes that nobody would even notice.

This program has just become stagnant and boring in all areas..... right down to us not trying anything new or different with our uniforms AND playing the same old classic rock n roll song from the 70's as our intro. It just all adds up to a bunch of meh.

If it weren't for all the great facility improvements that JP has made, this program would really be a complete mess. That is really the ONLY reason left why any recruit comes here now.... the facilities. It's not to win games obviously, and it isn't because we have cutting edge uniforms or cool entrance music, etc. It's just a really boring and stale program, outside of some of the facilities.

We really shouldn't be stubborn or embarrassed to change our jerseys. I know JP and PR were adamant about establishing an identity, but tradition is being burned everywhere, and we have no tradition. Don't mess with the colors. Just give us a new design. There are plenty of better options floating around out there.

These colors are still so wrong...unless you do like the ketchup and mustard look, IMO we need to use the colors from the throwback and have a gold helmet with a red sticker of the state of Iowa on it...but tradition
