Haunted Forest Tailgating

I'm sure they can't develop on the land, plus it's in a flood zone so the land really isn't worth much hence the lower property taxes
Oh for sure ...and they've found a great way to maximize value! Also, I'm sure if they ever wanted to sell could get a good amount!

I was not making a claim that they pocketed all receipts and didn't pay a penny of taxes. To think that you who would own that lot and had that much cash collected in a day would claim every penny of it is pretty holier-than-thou of you. But if that's you then you do you.

Like barbers, hairdressers, or waiters, most of those seem to only report what is necessary. There are many other professions and businesses that would seem to forget some income they made.

Hmmmmm…. Since they have owned this for a lot of years and they still own it yet today, one should assume, they probably pay property taxes on the land.

Cool. They are still committing a felony by allegedly not paying income taxes which is where this all started from.

And that's fine...it just makes people dirt bags.

Another person doing it doesn't make it ok...just means there are other dirt bags too (which we all already knew).

Oh so you were just making **** up. Cool

For sure. I wouldn't be surprised if the university tried to buy it.
Some people around the state fair grounds make a killing, too. Some of the marketing pieces make note of this when selling.

When Omaha built the new ballpark and tore down Rosenblatt while people complained that they were tearing down an icon (which was a dump) I think they were mainly upset over the fact that they couldn't lease their front yard to vendors or let people pay to park on their front lawns

Here we go again! Please let us know when you have proof on this. They are nice folks and have never had any issues with them. If it bothers you this bad, please go down there with a lawyer to confront them about. Sheez!!

Is there a way to contact the Haunted Forest?

Drove by there on my way home a little bit ago they had a sign about front where it was chained off. It had a 515 number but that was all I could make out as I drove by kinda slow. Sorry.

How large is the forest lot? Is it going to fill up before say Friday night around 9?

From another site, the owners said they had 100 RV sites and 700 car spots for UNI. And that a large area has been reserved by an Iowa City group for this weekend
