Harper's Eligibilty???

I hope this is true. On the CenTex board someone who seemed to know said Harper was enrolling at Kilgore JC. Kilgore has a good JC program but it was apparently a black hole for another Connally talent, running back Keith Demby.
Hopefully CH will be a Cyclone. He is a really outstanding football talent...and an excellent bb talent as well. He just needs someone who can push him to reach his potential. I don't know him personally but have observed him over the past several years. He seems to be one of the 'good guys'. You always like to see the good guys do well.
He definitely should concentrate on one sport and on getting a degree!!!
Too many Pf. Connally talents are falling through the cracks because of grades.

chase, i have all the faith in the world buddy that you will be wearing that new IState logo in a few days. way to go on hitting the books. just rememeber to keep it up once classes start. now that youre eligable, work to stay there my man. welcome to the cyclone family!
well he's in the media guide for what that's worth hope that he can make an impact for us in the future
An 18 on the SAT wouldn't be the score I'm hoping for from him...
I don't even think it is possible to get an 18 on the SAT, even if you spell your name wrong.
Well, what day is the first day of class? The 19th or so? Or, can they still go into the first week or two of class, and still enroll?
FWIW, Chase is not listed in today's newly updated rosters. Every other newcomer is listed and has a number I believe.
I noticed that too but the media guide was written in June and those profiles were written on signing day. I'm not hopeful about Chase at this point and that's really disappointing to me because I think he has all the potential in the world.
Chase has got his scores back. He has taken it 5 times do to the college board contesting two of them. The last test was one on one and he did not do well enough to confirm all the scores from an earlier testing.
I won't reveal what he made but he will attend college this fall at ISU

Wait, I'm confused - He didn't do well enough to confirm the scores, but he's going to ISU still? Do you mean the other way around?
This is great news though! I hope he can take a redshirt to get the academic side down this season and prep himself for an excellent football career as a Cyclone!
Sorry to hear Chase is struggling with the test. He's a good kid and a fine athlete...just hope he can put it all together.
Looks like his fellow Connally Cougar, Darius Darks is doing quite well so far. Darks has a lot of football smarts and good speed as well. Glad to see him off to a good start.
