Happy birthday to all the fellow devildogs out there. 15 years ago today i was graduating from recruit depot san diego. I had a flight out of minneapolis to des moines. Iowa was getting hit by a terrible snowstorm so my mom couldn't make it to the airport to pick me so her friend was going to pickup me up. There was a problem somehow i got on the wrong flight headed to cedar rapids. All i had on was my dress uniform which included a short sleeve shirt and a few dollars in my pocket. Luckily a lady on the plane heard what happened to me and was a manager of a hotel and gave me a ride and put me up in a room for the night. Semper Fi
