First, my hat is off to Iowa State. You punched WVU in the mouth and when WVU tried to fight back, you punched WVU harder and harder until they quit.

Teams either get better or worse as a season progresses, depending on how well coached they are.
WVU is getting worse, Iowa State is getting better. You have a really good coach.

Yes Purdy played well, but ISU dominated in all 3 phases of the game. ISU was better prepared, and WVU's coaches didnt have their team prepared.

It is pretty inexcusable WVU's defenders wernt coached in practice to not go for the fake pump and just drill the qb(Not leave their feet). ISU took away the deep pass and wvu refused to go underneath. Poor coaching by wvu and poor play by grier who lacks patience to march down the field with short passes.

ISu had the best qb on the field, the 2 best rbs on the field, and the best defense on the field.

As good as Grier is, I'm amazed at how he holds onto the ball so long to allow for sacks.
