So say all grass lots are closed and they push G7 pass holders to Vet Med, I would assume no room for public parking at Vet Med? What options remain for public tailgating spots?

I have to assume Haunted Forest lot would be closed too, but that's not the university's call correct? Would also assume the grass lot off of S 4th St next to Squaw Creek would be unusable too?

Yesterday I contacted the guy from the Haunted Forest lot. He said that they are planning on being open as long as it isn't too wet. My brother in law, who lives in Ames, drove by the lot on Monday and they had standing water in there.

This week there is volleyball at noon—will they restrict those lots again for Volleyball parking? It will be done before the game starts, but not before people wanting to tailgate.

Yes. A buddy has to work the V-Ball game and said they're blocking off parking for people including the workers and allowing them to park there for the football game if they're going.

VRBO or Airbnb for a house close to the stadium with a decent sized yard

Looks like a person can park by Hilton if they have a parking pass whether or not they go to the volleyball game. Or at least that is how i interpreted it.

Good Volleyball can take a couple of hours, well played sets to 24 and the last game to 15 bad VB can be over in 45 minutes. But yes there should be plenty of time to use that parking.
