Good spring break spots for us students under 21?

I work during spring break so I can take some trips with friends during the summer. However this year my spring break trip was NYC. I'm working more this spring and summer because I expect to go some place warm this time around next year for a nice bowl victory.

I also ask the question of where you get the money. I work my *** off and still couldn't afford it. Of course I pay out of state, but still.

I'm jealous, I never had the money in college to go on spring break and always had to work.....

I'd like to know as well, because I'm pretty sure they are full of ****. Mommy and daddy are paying their way.

:skeptical:

I couldn't afford to go on spring break trips every year but there really is no reason that any college kid can't figure out a way to go on a spring break trip once during their college years. And I would go so far as to say that EVERY college kid needs to do it once just to have that experience and those memories. My parents did not help me pay for college. I worked part time and took out loans. Yeah, I graduated with a **** ton of debt, but spending less than $1k on a trip where I had a TON of fun wasn't going to make my financial situation much different. Is it the smartest thing to do? Nope. But you only live once.

Oh yeah, I went to Daytona Beach with a couple good friends. It was a lot of drunken fun.

I realize you're joking, but 4 buddies and I went up to Winnipeg our sophomore year (spring '05) because my cousin lived up there and we were all underage, the drinking age was 18 and weed is decriminalized.

We spent 5 days just raising hell. It was cold outside and all that, but it was an absolute blast and waaaaaaaay cheaper than Mexico or Florida.
I wasn't actually joking, 3 buddies and I went to Toronto for spring break last year, it was just as warm as Iowa was, it was only a 17 hr trip....
