OK, switching to something of greater interest, what is the general consensus on reason(s) why Toledo was the one bowl-eligible team not invited to a bowl?

I think @tolfbfan said it may have been a mercy killing. Sounds like the team was in pretty bad shape by the end of the regular season.

Not surprising at all.

Nothing like letting your team down in a big way. Depending on how long the team has known this, and which JGJ would have shown up for this game, we could potentially be better without him.
the Des moines register is saying he is injured.

Way to let your entire team down for one of the bigger games in ISU history...Why he's even there is a bit baffling...CMC tried to save JGJ the humiliation I guess by saying its an injury...but nobody is that injured as a senior who was seen going thru practice some this week.
