TCU is the classiest school in the conference.

I’m sure we have our share of jackarses but overall I like to think us Horned Frogs are good salt of the earth people.

If I may brag on us though, near the end of this article Abby’s Mom mentions that some of the posters at Killer Frogs (our fan forum) started a fundraiser for Abby.

We ended up raising a little over 40k for her medical care needs.

It was an honor to help in any way we could for that sweet girl!

That’s one of many questions we have for our OC who also calls the plays.

A defensive battle in the big 12! Who would have ever thought. A rematch would be epic but would probably mean no big 12 team in the CFP. My prediction was 10 to 7 before game started at work. Was fun watching while driving today.

No! I didn’t make the trip up to Ames for the game. But I’m hoping one day the stars align and I can visit on a game day and have a hickory burger (and some ribs!)

I mentioned on a previous post in a different thread that one of my friends’ families drives the fire truck for the spirit walk. I definitely want to check that out too!

Trust me, I’m as passionate as the next guy/gal.
However, my interactions on here may be the only time somebody experiences a Horned Frog fan. Last thing I want to do is turn somebody off to the Frogs by being a jack-hole on the inter webs.

We are a small school of only around 8500 undergrads total. And we only have around 75k living alumni - we can use all the fans/support (even if we’re their 2nd favorite team) we can get.

Also, I must say that y’all are the most levelheaded, realistic, and thoughtful opposing teams fan forum Ive been to. I hope you keep up such a great environment here! I look forward to returning and more great banter!

Jamie Dixon, who is in his 2nd year as head coach, has our MBB program on the upswing.

Coming off our NIT championship we have high, but realistic expectations for the year. We haven’t been dancing in a long time, and feel like this is the year we finally make it to the tourney again.

Actually, you're not the only alum I know - there are several up here in Ames. My (retired) pastor, among others. He & I go back & forth about the horny toads all the time during the game weeks.
