Rece and Kirk tried to be nice and complimentary last night, but it took some effort. To be fair, they are stuck in a lane where they think only a few programs are worthy.

They love "Brands", and the non-branded teams are just human interest stories. It's not anti-ISU, just a smug indifference to so-called non-branded programs IMO.

Just my onion.

Do we know if they're filming College Football Live on campus Friday? If so, does anyone know what time?

Agreed - Holly Rowe directly admitted that ESPN has conferences where they discuss who is and isn't a brand. She said Clemson is considered a regional brand still. If ESPN is from the top directing that kind of thinking, what do you expect from people like Rece and company?

Duh!
First, #&$@ ESPN. However, not showing or heckling the ESPN crew only hurts ISU. We have a rare stage and chance to promote our brand at a time it is desperately needed. We need to show up and rep ISU well to further interest from casual fans and other conferences. Do not let the hawk fans dominate and do not look petty. Again, only hurts ourselves. Put the emotions aside and do what’s best for ISU.

I hope the students don't embarrass ISU too much on national TV.

What I do hope is that ESPN will do spots on Gameday about Iowa's racist issues, rhabdo issues, covering up rape issues, sexist issues (lawsuits), etc, etc, etc..... but they never would do that unfortunately.

But it needs to be covered. KF is not a saint, and it needs to be pointed out. Instead they'll do a half hour segment on how KF signed a football for a kid at the U of I Hospital or something and how great a guy he is!

Ames
I haven't followed this entire thread, are we expecting a change from what is posted on Cyclones.com, on the parking page?
If we want the biggest crowd as possible at gameday then then the lots will need to open earlier to get people in and setup so they can get over to the GameDay set.. It got moved up to 5AM 2 years ago

As bad as the new parking company is they need to start parking people now to get people there in time. That company should be fired after last weekend.
