You'd miss an entire quarter standing in line...
Which brings me to kid in front of us complaining they didn’t send people into stands selling Hawaiian ice. It seems like a long time since they had vendors in stands. Although Saturday people might have preferred fetching their own beer to get some shade.

JFC, just admit you don't have any clue what you're talking about. Go back to X with the rest of the burner losers who know nothing about college athletics, but will whine because they can't buy a $17 beer in the stadium.
Lol are you ok? It’s Tuesday morning. You are gonna have a very long week

The last few years, I've complained about how long TV timeouts felt in the stadium. I didn't notice it as much on Saturday and maybe she was part of the reason I wasn't just sitting there watching the clock tick. I think she would have a better role though if she was leading interactive things during the break, like on field games or something, rather than just moving around the stands talking. I get she is there to do ad reads basically, but those could easily be tied in to activities.

Sending Jamie to IC (or anyone else for that matter) is just plain mean.
I've been to Kinnick three times in the past 15 years for CyHawk, everytime has been enjoyable.. There is NOTHING better than winning as the road team against your rival and being there to scream and cheer!!

I've also been to the ped mall for a game watch twice in the same timeframe and it was horrible... I'll never go there again wearing ISU colors on CyHawk week.

Let me know where I said she was enhancing the game day? I said don't be an ass to someone. You can say you don't like it. Some people crossed lines. But yeah I said she was enhancing....

You said people were angry about her “doing her job.” Her job is to enhance the game day atmosphere. My question to you is do you think that was accomplished? Do you think she enhanced the game day atmosphere?

I would say most aren’t mad about her as a human, most are mad that the AD would waste time and resources on a product that is really bad and literally only exists (and horribly failed this past week) to make game day at the stadium better for fans.

I know people are unhappy with Jackie's efforts to date, but I want to say her heart is in the right place. I was her assistant softball coach in 1988-89. She is essentially the same person today as she was as a nine year old. She was outspoken and emotional and very supportive of her teammates. She was energetic and a character. We were losing a lot, but her parents, along with a couple of other families, backed us up when others wanted us to be replaced. I know it is hard to see, but Jackie signed the 1989 team softball I still possess. Give her a chance.
I think its sounds like she just wasn't very good at her job and throw in the fact she is a hawk fan and both of those facts have rubbed people the wrong way. She's likely a very nice person with good intentions, but maybe not the right fit for this particular job.

Do they just play rap music between plays now?
this pissed me off.....this is not a pro game....the band barely got to play in between plays and I noticed they played rap music or whatever it was after successful PAT's....let the band play "For I For S" like they've been doing for years.....whoever thought that was a good idea needs to be fired

For those of us that have to watch on tv, we can tell.

Outside of the first touchdown it was quiet as hell in there today. It was majority of the games last year. Not sure if it’s the students moving or what but JTS has sounded quiet for the past year.
a combination of things....the students moving a few years ago has absolutely had a negative impact on the game day environment.....this past game against UND in particular was thrilling for the first 40 seconds of the game in which the crowd went nuts......then the defense took the field and we had to suffer through UND going on a 13 minute...............yes a 13 minute drive where our defense couldn't get off the field.

When the product on the field is lackluster, there's only much you can get excited for. The PA guy is trying to amp up the fans "it's 3rd down, Cyclone fans on your feet" gets old after the 12th consecutive 3rd down conversion.
