Frost Home Burglarized

Is that common to have more than one Championship ring per championship? 10 Seems a bit excessive. Maybe Scott was going to put them on Craigslist.

Guessing between bowls and conference titles he has that many.

It's stupid to have valuables out in an unoccupied house. It's stupid to not have the door locked into the house. And it's stupid that somebody would do that to this guy.

Then again, Huskers and their fans are stupid. I know this, as I grew up in Western Iowa. 17 years of that crap.

Hope I never get burglarized because they will probably trash the place out of utter and complete frustration. No jewelry, no cash, no xbox gamie stuff, no ipads, and all the guns save one are locked up in big ole safe. Really nothing to dash and grab. They sure as hell aren't going to try and stuff the 100 plus pound plasma TV into their grab bag. They'd look in frustration at my ancient laptop that might fetch $12 on Craigslist, I mean, they'd take it and then find out it's old junk. Maybe best they could do would be to steal my bicycles which might fetch them a couple hundred bucks. Probably cannot drive stick so won't steal the old Boxster.

The irony is the thieves were probably after contractor tools or expensive construction materials such as tile which is quite common

Yeah, they may not even have realized what they took when they took it. That stuff may show back up somewhere else to be found, but not in a pawn shop or anything like that. Obviously it would be ridiculous to try to pawn those items but criminals can be stupid, I guess.

On local news they are saying the rings were in the garage. The other stuff is still missing.

The way I read it, the door between the garage and house was unlocked (still a bit foolish). Likely someone figured out a way to get the garage door open. Could be wrong.

It will be interesting to see how stupid the thieves are when they recognize they have something valuable and try to sell it to a diehard Bugeater who knows what they are and where they came from. "You guys stay right there while I make a call to find out the value of this metal melted down." "Lincoln Police, come to ABC Pawn Shop. I've got your guys. And hello sideline passes for home games!"

Lincoln police are asking for the public's help in locating these two suspects for questioning regarding their possible involvement. The Lincoln police acknowledge the difficulty in achieving this due to the suspects' respective lack of unique characteristics that might allow one to easily distinguish the two from the wider everyday Nebraska population at large.
