Is there a song that, every time you hear it, makes you want to stick sharp objects in your eardrum?

Any song by Evanescense or Florence/Machine. Same skin-crawling thing.

Probably most top 40 music, but I listen mostly to satellite radio, so I'm going with anything from the Cranberries. That singer's voice makes me want to drive into a tree. Or Smashing Pumpkins for the same reason.

"The Girl is Mine" - Michael Jackson/Paul McCartney

I don't think there's anything more cringey in the history of music than the little banter they share mid-song.

Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Another one for me is anything by Pomplamoose. So godawful with her whole "oops, oh my, I seem to have stumbled upon a microphone and now will sing daintily into it with a confused look on my face" thing.

Well that begs the question, Angie, how about you?

When my husband and I got married, I had three songs that I would rage if I heard:

- Cotton-Eyed Joe
- Hollaback Girl
- Butterfly Kisses

My mom then met with us and the DJ and said all she wanted was for me to dance with my dad to “Butterfly Kisses.” I kindly explained that would happen over my dead body.
