I would take a class in pinball repair, both solid state and electro mechanical. I have gotten better over the years, but still feels like I don't know what I'm doing.

wouldn't teach a class. I'm the definition of good at a lot of things, not great at anything.

I was drawing a blank for master class I'd want to seek, music production/sound engineering would be a good one. I've dabbled in that area through the years, but never formally.

I could do The Beatles as teacher, can co-teach w/ @matclone and @MeanDean. I want dibs on the "middle period" (late-'65 to early-'67) :)

From a practical sense, I would want to take master class for things outside my wheelhouse — mechanical/construction/home maintenance et al. Wouldn't be as "fun," but probably more useful.
I could do the early period/background or, as needed.

Same here.... I have gotten better at pinball repair and mods.... but not overly confident.

I'd take a master class in another language. I know a dangerously low amount of Spanish and Mandarin, and I am crazy jealous of people that speak 5 more languages. I once met this woman from Ireland at a friend's barbecue. She was fluent in 8 languages and was studying Farsi for fun at the time. She was also a total smoke show. I think my exact reply to hearing that information was "I speak English not so good".

the need for constant maintenance or repair is why I haven't bought a pinball machine.

Strange, my wife didn't mention meeting you.

Something sociology related. Think my favorite class was sociology at the local juco. It was opening. Eye opening, but also eye opening....if that makes sense.

Not sure what I'd be qualified to teach at that level. Maybe public speaking?

Of course I try to lay down the wisdom here and the response is usually related to dinosaurs or dinosaur poop or poop or Godzilla. Having trouble reaching my younger students

I’ve got a sibling that’s up to 5 now I think and one of them is Arabic which is a ***** to learn. I always thought it was pretty cool.

I think I could teach a history of the Birth/Development of Rock and Roll. 1955-1972. There would definitely be several chapters on the Beatles and they'd be included in the two or three British Invasion sessions as well.

Not to brag, but I could teach a Master Class in "How to Piss Off People Without Even Trying".

I would like to take instruction in how to vandalize Cheeto signs without getting caught, especially the one that has a flamethrower included in the course materials.

Testifying
I could teach a master class on how to calmly operate a boat at launch and loading.
There are some people who are really bad at it and can even test marriages.

History of Paris.

I could teach that one. On the off chance that you're taking the course and not teaching it, did you know that Saint Genevieve is the Patron Saint of Paris because she convinced the people of Paris not to vacate the "city" for fear that Attila the Hun would come along and ransack the joint? She told them to pray and fast. The Huns never attacked Paris (maybe because they didn't care to fast and pray with the natives). And voilà, sainthood!

If you could take a master class on any subject, what would it be? What would you teach as a master class? Have you ever done one of them?
I'd like to take a master class on World War II and the Civil War. I could also probably teach a class on those subjects, but you can always learn more.

The things I'd want a master class in would probably be things that would have to first follow a beginner's class (play guitar). Not sure I am versed enough in anything that'd I feel qualified to teach one either. Closest things would be sales management and American history.

Far from expert level but teach: fly fishing without breaking the bank.

Learn: oceanography. The ocean is like a different planet and it'd be fun to learn so much about it.

Take: grill in all shapes.
Teach: improvisation. Every one should take an improv class at least once. Not even to perform.
Taken a master class: not anything labeled as such.

Piano by Rachmaninoff. The guy was amazing and I'd kill to have the ability to watch him play and learn from him.
