Friday OT #3 - Four Truths And A Lie

I was thinking of this earlier, how it would be interesting to maybe have a thread where everyone posts four true things and one false thing about themselves, and people respond and try to guess which one is the lie. (You have to come back and tell which is the lie.) I'm not sure how this will work on a forum, so let's give it a shot. If it goes well, we might do it again another time when I don't have any ideas.

1. I went to high school with Jason Momoa for a brief bit.
2. I was in the top 6 at the state spelling bee in 8th grade. If I'd studied, I could potentially have been one of those kids on ESPN at the Scripts.
3. I took and failed a motorcycle safety course.
4. I have gone glass blowing twice.
5. I competed in and won the Build-a-Burger competition during an ISU MBB game.

2. I got Mick Jagger's autograph in person
3. In 65 years of living, other than being born there, I've ever been hospitalized.
4. Both of my parents attended the University of Iowa. And I did too.
5. I won a significant amount of money (over $1,000) in a state lottery.

I am going to go out on a limb and say the builid-a-burger. Not sure if it was you, but I thought one of the other known ladies on this board said they don't do a lot of cooking. Not sure if that is you.

I'm pretty sure 1 and 2 are true. I'm going to go with 3 as being the lie.

I can't cook to save my life, but I did do the human build-a-burger thing during a home MBB game. I was the bottom bun.

Actually, no! There's a guy named Art Cicotti just outside of Ames who does glass blowing. I went and made a paperweight with a friend, and then last Christmas I went with my 9-year-old and we blew ornaments! Make a joke out of THAT, @BCClone !

Nope, that one's also true! I got through my school and the regional ones great, and there were probably 100 kids or so at the state finals. I got 6th... but it made me mad. I should have studied.

I'm going with #2 as the lie -- seems too "highly likely true."
