Friday OT #1 - Vice City

Probably have more bad habits than I'm willing to admit but drinking less pop and eating better probably is the obvious one.

Only bad habit is CF...I probably do it a bit too much at work.

I do drink to excess a couple times a month, smoke sometimes, smoke weed sometimes...but I wouldn't say any of it is habitual.

Of course, I would say that, wouldn't I...

Dip. I’ve been doing it for the last 15 years and haven’t decided to kick it yet. I should probably do that.
 
Mon-Thurs Ill have a few drinks total, eat healthy, work out a couple times.

Friday on the way home from work, I’ll smoke weed on the way to the liquor store, to get my mind right. Then its party mode until Sunday afternoon, unless there are sober family activities in the way.

Occasionally smoke a cig, if Im out drinking with people who smoke.

Don't do the coffee thing. Never have. Wasn't even in the house growing up (my father also did not do coffee). My morning caffeine fix is a 12 oz can of Diet Mt Dew. I try to stop it at one per day but some days I'll also have another diet pop later in the day. I may be kidding myself by drinking those "Ice" drinks which are carbonated flavored water; so basically pop. But I let myself think I'm drinking water and not pop so there.

Also can be very much the salty snacks man. Hard to turn down but I try not to buy them very often.

Not PB&J. If I do a peanut butter sandwich it's peanut butter and butter. Gave up the jelly component when I hit about 12 years of age.

Occasionally smoke a cig, if Im out drinking with people who smoke.

I swear that the tobacco & booze companies are in this together. If, when I'm drinking, someone offers me a smoke I smoke every single time.

Strong sweet tooth
Biting fingernails
Im also a master at overthinking and giving myself anxiety over little things

I don't know how anyone can smoke a single cig on occasion. That first one is just so nasty. Then the nicotine kicks in and you want another and another until they aren't nasty anymore. I quit 24 years ago and if I touched just one I'm sure I'd be up to at least a pack a day within the week.

Same. I have not touched them since I quit...for the same reason.
 
What are your bad habits? Do you smoke/vape? Drink too much? Petty crime?

I drink waaaaaay too much Diet Coke each day in order to just function.

What are yours?

I used to smoke a pack a day, but I quit 20-plus years ago, so now I'm perfect. :cool:

But if Diet Coke is a vice, then I suppose Diet Pepsi is too. I must drink 4-5 of the 16.9 ounce plastic bottles a day. I buy those six packs 9 at a time at the store during this pandemic so I don't have to go back as often. When I was working, and there was no pandemic, I would buy 5 a week and that would last me the whole week. Can't stand Diet Coke. It leaves a brassy after taste that Diet Pepsi doesn't.

One smoke gets me a nice little nicotine buzz, the 2nd one does nothing, so thats where I stop.
 
Only time I've even attempted smoking cigarettes was the cliche of down by the old railroad bridge at the edge of town with friends at the age of 14ish.

They made fun of me because I held it out to light it instead of from my mouth.

Isn't that a good thing if you don't know how to light a cigarette?

Only smoked weed consistently for maybe a week 15 years ago but realized I was really losing ambition to do normal activities and I don't think I've smoked since.

I would honestly be curious to hear what vices people have just never been attracted to.

For example, I have to have a coffee every morning- I know a lot of people don't like coffee though.

For me, I don't think I've had a pop in over 10 years.

Not sure if this counts or is just a gambling problem but I’ll throw a couple bucks on a game just to have a rooting interest otherwise I don’t really care. Other than that trying to cut down on pop but it’s rough

My worst habit is just staying up too late, usually watching stuff, which I usually couple with late-night eating. Toughest thing for me to kick.
