Whats the Deal with the "Hog" Nose Ring (not sure the term for it, but you know what I mean)?

I guess a small hoop in one side, or a small stud in the nose. I guess, can be ok....

Anytime I see the "Hog Ring", I just envision old Sows and Boars at Grampa's farm.
When the first thing people think of, when you see someone is a Hog/Sow.......my guess is that not what optimal?

I have a four year old that will dart off in public and is a struggle to keep contained. My son has to transfer schools next month and be put on an IEP because he will run off. It gets to the point where my wife and I will consider declining dinner invites from my parents because taking the kids out with us is so difficult and stressful. Some people probably think my wife and I are lazy parents that don't know how to discipline our kids but it is a struggle every day for us.

- my apologies for my rant. It has been a difficult week.
I'm with you. I have a two-year-old terrorist at restaurants. What am I supposed to do? Beat her? It's even more uncomfortable seeing a parent spank the hell out of their child in front of everybody.

Haircuts. Man, I do stretch them out to 12-14 weeks but I hate getting them. I go when my hats get really tight, have him buzz it down to basically a high and tight and then wait for the curls to pop.
Count me in, I've been cutting my own lately. Probably should get a real haircut one of these days

You can use that like a dog collar. Just snap that leash onto it.

How about people who gotta drag politics up into everything? Many believe their opinion is “main stream” so it’s no big deal because it’s not really political. They are generally the worst because they do it the most.
I do enjoy this when I'm with somebody else that thinks like this and we start making ridiculous statements just to get the political person's reaction.

What gets me angry is everybody being so angry. Everywhere you go now people are flipping out, yelling, flailing their arms. Just driving down the street you'll see people shouting into their phones. Our world has an anger problem.

I guess it should not be surprising, since anger is strongly tied to immaturity and lack of intelligence. We're living in Idiocracy times.

How about the freaking man in the Yellow Hat?! He sends Curious George, a CHILD MONKEY, around to do complicated errands and then is baffled when George causes chaos. I mean, he’s a ******* monkey, perhaps meter your expectations, dude. Why are you even leaving a monkey home alone to roam your house, let alone pick up the dry cleaning?!
Despite what the books say, George is an ape, not a monkey. Monkeys have tails, apes do not. And George doesn't have a tail.

I feel you.

But I think a lot of people recognize the parents that are struggling but trying with a child vs. the parents who just let the kids run wild and don't care to even try to intervene. I have actually said a word or two to parents struggling at church that "everybody has been there, you are doing fine."

Agree with you. Everyone today is so EASILY offended over the stupidest stuff. You can't even have a conversation at a game (for example, bad refs, crappy play calls) without someone sitting nearby being offended for bringing it up. Good Lord, if you don't like it, STAY HOME. It's ok for folks to comment or be critical about the game being watched.

thanks for the encouragement. I think my son sensed there are some changes coming and has increased erratic behavior this week. It got bad enough today at his pre-school that I had to go pick him up because he was acting up so much.
