For the People Staying Home

Thought I would start a thread to see what the people that are staying home during this time of emergency or doing to pass the time. I have been able to keep busy in the garage. I finished this football display case today. What is everyone else doing??

I got a head up from some Williams fella that ISU was playing in the 2015, 2017 and 2019 Big 12 tourney on ESPN last weekend.....so I recorded it. Man that was a fun time!

I work from home most of the time, the wife works in health care and won't stop going in, so my days are basically the same except for daughter 1 being home from ISU and daughter 2 being home from high school all day. We did get a good start on some deep Spring cleaning this weekend and I got going on cleaning out the garage yesterday. Jealous?

Burned leaves and brush today. Planted a bunch of spinach and lettuce. Currently on cyclonefanatic. Hoping to get the wife in the mood later tonight.

Plan on polishing my car this weekend. Bought a new smoker but I don’t have any meat. Already was working 2days a week from home but now the wife is doing it too. I’ll probably go nuts

Watching a 3 year old and 6 year old. Wife and I alternate shifts of 3 hours work then 3 hours watch kids. Total work of around 6 hours/day for each of us. Also FML.

Yard work, cleaning beehive equipment. Got to attack the garage soon. Actually, it seems like I am getting ahead of schedule on my "honey-do" list too.

Same. Just looked at the ARL and they have a fair amount. I won’t at least for now because I have to keep going in to the office.

I've been working from home since last Thursday, but I usually do two days a week so this isn't that unusual yet. We aren't required to work from home 100% of the time yet, which really bothers me (considering who I work for). I'm scheduled to be off Thursday and Friday for the NCAA, so I'm not sure what I'll do. But so far, I've decided that my projects while I am self isolating will be cleaning out closets and the storage area in my basement. Got a start on a closet today.

I haven't been out of the house since Saturday? Are things slowing down in Des Moines yet? I'll venture out to the grocery store on Thursday morning.

Teleworking, which sucks much harder than normal because our VPN isn't designed to handle thousands of employees trying to access the network at one time, which means I literally sit there until after lunch just waiting for my computer to work right.

Put in a solid 2-1/2 hour nap after my dog curled up next to me while I was working. Hey, I can make it up tonight. Oops. Didn't.

working from home with spouse here too............and our toddler. It's super duper great. We had conference calls at the same time this morning. Mine went 20 minutes over and person running it spent way too much time chit chatting. It's one thing to waste my time when I'm sitting at the office with coffee in my hand. It's another when I'm coffee-free ping ponging a toddler in the background. They all got an earful when he went to play on his own and gleefully screamed throwing his toys everywhere.
