Watch some regular season ball. In the playoffs LeBron is so many more times the defender Durant is. I hope NOBODY thinks I'm arguing against that. In key playoff games I think LeBron is the #1 on ball defender in the league and possibly ever.
If that were the case for 82 games though...Durant would not have blocked more shots and got more rebounds than LeBron as happened IN REALITY. LeBron's sniffers all want him to get credit for the defense he plays in the playoffs but they don't want the biggest Finals choke ever to matter in MVP discussions. Both matter, it all matters.
Again, he's the MVP, he's the champ, he's the greatest thing going in the world right now. But I'm not a "hater" for thinking a guy who scored more points, had more rebounds, blocks and wins had an argument for MVP at the time of voting. That's called, not-being-a-LeBron-fanboy.
