A center at Toledo had to have great feet. They were pulling and leading the RB on many of the plays. Will be interesting. They get his weight to 290 and he still has good quickness, may be a possible solution or atleast give us much better depth.

Assuming this is the backup plan if they can't find another grad transfer/JUCO to replace Catalina?

You know what's weird is prior to last season I saw this kid on roster as a RS Jr and thought how has he not even sniffed the two deeps? So strange...but if he's smart and strong enough then moving to Center could make sense
 
Could be a depth move, but my feeling is it's way too early to pencil Scoggins in as the starting center.

Center is going to be a position to pay attention to in spring ball.
 
This is a depth move only IMO. If this guy has a chance to start, we're in deep trouble.

Scroggins will be the starter. Let's just hope to God he's a much improved snapper by September.
 
Isn't Scoggins the only player on the roster with experience at Center? I would love to see Green at least push him for the starting job.
 
Per a tweet by Tommy Birch Sheldon Croney might be moving to defense... Here's the tweet:

Sounds like we could maybe see RB Sheldon Croney on defense in 2016. Keep hearing that his hand hasn't healed like they hoped it would.

So much for red shirting either one of the freshman running backs. Are we thinking safety?

Where has everybody been.....I posted this weeks ago. The DB coach told me on signing day croney was already at safety.

Too big to be a safety I'd think....215-220 range. Could be a nice linebacker depending on his speed and other abilities.
