Honestly. If Flora doesn’t return the punt for the winning TD in the fourth quarter comeback versus TCU, then we finish 7-5. 2-5 finish. No 3 game win streak. IMO Penn State does not offer Campbell.

"It's" isn't the name of the football coach. We should get that right.
I still see Squawkeye fans misspell Ferentz name...Farantz, Ferantz. He's been there in some capacity for almost 45 years!
Hell, we're still misspelling Coach Rhoads name.
What CMC did is show what Iowa State can be capable of doing. He proved that it’s not impossible to have sustained success. So that’s the new place to start from. The biggest benefit of Campbell leaving is we can show we can have a good football program without him. The program is far better now than it was 10 years ago.
And let's not forget that beyond himself and his staff, he had something to sell. Great facilities, great community and a highly engaged, rabid fan base. Those things aren't everything, but they're definitely something when you have a good coaching staff. What CMC did is show what Iowa State can be capable of doing. God tier cope right here.Honestly. If Flora doesn’t return the punt for the winning TD in the fourth quarter comeback versus TCU, then we finish 7-5. 2-5 finish. No 3 game win streak. IMO Penn State does not offer Campbell.
I'm pretty confident Rogers will keep ISU competitive. For the first time in my ISU fandom, I genuinely felt in the past 6-7 years (maybe longer) that ISU could win any game on the schedule.
Imagine saying that 20 years ago.
Just hoping to continue being able to feel that way.
Campbell also didnt have CyTown in his back pocket, for whatever kind of recruiting sell that might be in a couple yearsAnd let's not forget that beyond himself and his staff, he had something to sell. I think this is true as well, but our surge in popularity among local casual fans and national media is very tied to the cult of Campbell. If we don't come out swinging next year, I fear that bandwagon will unload quickly. It's definitely a time where anxiety about our future is warranted. We can't survive a Rhoads performance from Rogers. I think he's better than that though. The biggest benefit of Campbell leaving is we can show we can have a good football program without him. Not really a recruiting sell imo unless you're talking about recruiting the casual fanCampbell also didnt have CyTown in his back pocket, for whatever kind of recruiting sell that might be in a couple years
Better than the standard bubble screen to a guy named Jarvis every timeI still miss the 3rd and 5 delay draws up the middle. Those were the days.

Close proximity of Trice to injury rehab? How exactly will CyTown be a recruiting pitch?
One of the Cytown suites will be hookers for the incoming signed recruits. How exactly will CyTown be a recruiting pitch?
Also, a bit of a "wow" factor that, while not directly, gives a lift to the vibe and facilities.Close proximity of Trice to injury rehab?
Agree. The Miami game and TA&M game this year surely helped. Same with USC each year. And I have a feeling that Notre dame playing 5 games against the ACC has helped their numbers.
