First Coaches' Ranking (1/19)

Do the coaches send the lineup into the coaches panel to be ranked? Curious if KD put Redding in there over Ramazan, or if the system automatically put Redding because he wrestled the last varsity match.

For ranking purposes, coaches may only consider a wrestler that has been designated as a starter at a respective weight class.

I know it doesn't make sense but I wish we could ride with Ram for duals and Redding for touney's.

So….. he must be healthy? That seems surprising
Judging from Dresser's newsletter, Swiderski seems to be doing alright. KD doesn't usually blow smoke so I'm cautiously optimistic about this comment from the newsletter:
"141. Casey Swiderski also is very healthy right now after tweaking his shoulder about a month ago. Casey just needs matches right now and the plan is to send him to Minnesota this Sunday to compete in that open event. He has the ability to go very deep into this season if he stays healthy and continues to manage his weight well."

On another note, great problems to have at 133. I'll be happy with either guy.

It looks like we have 18 wrestlers going to the Minnesota Tourney. I found it on trackwrestling it's called the North County Open. Looks like the only other D1 teams are NDSU and SDSU. No clue if they are sending any of their starters or not. Regardless will be interesting to see who we all send.

Ha. You must have simul-posted with stuclone starting the thread about the open event: North Open Thread

Looking to get a room at Tulsa for Nationals. Never got a request in to Robin, so going to have to drive in to BOK. What are some of the good hotels and have easy drives to BOK?

Everything close is sold out.

We stayed in Broken Arrow , easy drive in and out , by food and shopping . There were 3 or 4 hotels right off the highway that heads into Tulsa , right by a Bass Pro .

Warm enough down there you can probably sleep in your car at a rest stop.
