I just went from 25th to 5th in my office pool. Only one person ahead of me has Houston as champ, so I could get 2nd place with a Cougar championship. That puts me in the money. Same thing happened when Baylor won a few years ago. Very exciting for me!!

Well, or if Tech had made their FTs or not been pretty boneheaded with some of their possessions as Florida was making their comeback.

It took a lot for tech to lose that

They choked for sure but refs were in love with FLA all game, at one point Tech had 9 more field goals yet game was close.

Houston’s biggest lead was 3 points.

That looked like my probability chart of getting a cute girls number at a bar many many year ago. Everything going great then a jock strolls in and sweeps her away (I’m the geeky guy from Duke!)

Houston conditioning is way better than our team too, and our guys are tough and in shape too. but then again they are better conditioned than literally everyone.

Question... did they ever show Hakeem before the game was over and Houston had won?? I hadn't seen him during the game, but I wasn't watching the whole game.

Reason being... they were showing Coach K in the crowd.. and Jim Nantz in the crowd, etc. I never saw Hakeem until the game was over.

So impressed with Houston. They are my 2nd fav team in the Big12. A lot of similarities to what Sampson does and what TJ wants to do. That kind of never say die will to win is just really impressive. Got to get up for one more game though. Really hard to put this kind of game behind you though.
