Fighting Burrito in Ames Closing

I lived at the corner of Lincoln and Hyland in '07-'08. FB sustained me in those days.

Myself and three other friends were arrested for public intox outside the FB on Lincoln Way in '09.

Any Campustown insiders know what the old Fighting Burrito place is being re-used as?

Drove by and it looks like some transformational progress is being made.

Since this thread got bumped, somewhat old news (about 3 weeks ago) but the Des Moines location is permanently closed as well. Two prime locations in Campustown of Ames and Downtown Des Moines and they still couldn't make it work. I just hope both locations are not replaced with chains and will give another local business an opportunity to set up shop.

Used to hit the one downtown about once a week when I was working in Des Moines. Always enjoyed it and always seemed relatively busy. I'd imagine the Nationwide crowd alone would keep you busy.
