Saw this on their Facebook page this morning: https://www.facebook.com/FightingBurrito/

Sad day for me and many of my college buddies. I spent way too many drunken nights there after bar close chowing down on a burrito, quesadilla or the occasional monster sized rice krispie treat. Was a staple on Welch during my ISU days, will be interesting to see what that location becomes. It's prime real estate in Campus Town.

Curious to see what goes here. Location is amazing.

What Welch DOESNT need is another Chinese restaurant or tattoo parlor. Would like to see this stay a fast casual restaurant

I wish when I was in college, I went to Mr. Burrito more often.

I haven't been in campustown in a while, but I think it'd be great if a fast food restaurant opened up that served burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc.

Already have that with Freddy’s

Spent way too much money at Flying Burrito back in the day. And their huge brownies were massively underrated.

Is anything left of the Matthew Goodman campustown empire?

Pancheros used to be located at Mickeys if my memory is correct.

This is correct. The El Gordo burrito was an absolute treasure! Panchero's is a shell of what it used to be and it still blows the doors off the likes of Fighting Burrito, Qdoba, & Chipotle.
