Not hard to see why this is such a good dual team.

Tournament team looking better all the time. Can’t wait for the next two events.

Look at the jump for Bastida!

I mean if the guys wrestle to about these spots, that's AA at 41, 57, 84, 97. Four AA's...

When was the last time we had 4 AA's? Cael era (coaching not wrestling)?

I think this team is healthy, which is great for the longer tournaments.

I also think this team is tough and will do well if they get knocked to the back side.

Lots of studs on other teams are dealing with injuries and have been sitting out lately.
Fingers crossed we remain healthy through Big 12s

Sorry for the noob wrestling question but what qualifies for AA? Top 8?

A champ plus 3 other AAs would be a great start. Add in a couple more in medal contention (Degen, KT and Sam optimistically project as R16, maybe blood round guys) and some surprise/bonus points, and all of a sudden we're sneaking around the chicken coop for some hardware. Realistically your low AA seeds need to move up on the podium, and you need a couple R16/blood round guys to sneak into low AA position to get there.

The top 2 seem pretty well set, and Michigan probably looks pretty solid with Suriano now in the fold. If however as others have stated, we can stay healthy and keep working toward peaking at the right time a top 5 finish doesn't seem like as big of a stretch as it did at the beginning of the season. Top 7-10 is probably more realistic, but it would be nice to be pleasantly surprised for the first time in quite a while.

From Flo

Coleman lost to Kent but has wins over Geer, Venz, and Samuelson so drops only to #7.
Man, that Kent match just stays stuck in my head. Got caught and then just couldn't find a way get out. Got a little gassed and still had a chance in the end. I really hope Coleman can put together another good post season this year but at little higher level. I've enjoyed watching him wrestle so well this year. Other than THAT match of course.

The post season needs to start already!

4/7/17 is quite the spread. What's the deal?
NCAAs is weighing heavily. He went 1-2 last year, and most sources take NCAAs as a starting point to the season ranking. So, by going 1-2 Parker would have started the season ranked just inside the top 20.

Then, as Buf mentioned he has not wrestled any opponents this year that would have allowed him to move up. We’ve seen how good a peak Parker can be, and that is definitely AA level. Really hard to tell if he’s there or not this year.
