***Farmageddon Game Week Discussion Thread***

I will be placing a sizable wager on us to win; if we win it’ll pay for tickets in Arlington. If we lose I’ll save $1,000+ not going to Arlington. Just makes sense to do

If ISU gets up early, this will be a massive emotional hedge.

It’d be nice if we didn’t allow our opponent to score on their opening drive. Ironically the last time we forced a punt on the first series was Kansas. Probably the only time they punted that day.
This x 1 million…. Some sort of sick ritual we have these days. It’s also very unhealthy for my stress levels.

Also ISU scored on their first drive.

Kinds shot the 'they need to get out to a good start' thing down pretty quickly.

How many times have we read from posters who were at 'that' game in horrific weather, against a world beater, during times when we could barely field a competitive team, and almost pulled the miraculous upset. And then wondered how cool it would have been there?
In the end, IF we win, you can say you were THERE! If we lose, at least you had the kahunas to be there.
How I wish I had the means to get there...

I expect the Sukup end zone to be empty. Those fans are wimps.
Never been in Sukup but I assume there are TV’s inside and it will be packed in there. Option would be to run out to your seat when teams are in the Red Zone.

That 91 game playing in frozen astroturf had to be awful for those guys. Also shoutout to the ISU fans at that game. True sickos and loyal fans no doubt. Was before I was born but props to those folks

Will be interesting if the 1-2 inches of snow materializes that morning…that will be one slick mother of a field.
Will someone think of the players!

Facebook memories just informed me that today is the day they picked up 3 flags while we were playing Kansas State in 2017. The fix game. Thanks facebook for reminding me
That game still burns my insides. My hospitalized father almost got out of his bed he was so angry at the missed PI call on the ball thrown to Lazard.
