I’m just mad about the CF algorithm pushing me to more and more extreme content. Somehow my posting history has steered me to content saying Blum and CW are raging Cody Road drunks and Tom Herman will be the next coach at ISU.Imagine getting angry debating whether cf is social media.![]()

Outlaw the CF algorithm!
Lol ur wrongOh mercy- is there a point to this my right-fighting friend? We both agree there’s differences, that’s all I’m trying to say.
Well, you can get Ukrainian, Romanian, and muslin wives so there is a somewhat doing portion to this.We should turn CF into the next Facebook. Add a marketplace section to sell all my garbage and a dating/personals section and you've pretty much have it covered. Plenty of people in the cave can already provide all the misinformation we need.
Reminds me of a couple of guys from my company's IT team. One guy went to the Philippines and came back with a wife. About 6 months later, one of his co-workers went there and married the first guy's wife's cousin. Third guy a year later goes to the Philippines as well and comes back married to another "relative" of the first two girls.Well, you can get Ukrainian, Romanian, and muslin wives so there is a somewhat doing portion to this.

I knew a guy that had married a mail order bride from the Philippines, had never seen his wife until one day her name came across my desk on a timesheet for the factory I oversaw. Of course I had to wander down and see what you can get through the mail. He must have went for the discount bin because she wasn’t nice or attractive. How do you pick a mean and unattractive mail order bride?Reminds me of a couple of guys from my company's IT team. One guy went to the Philippines and came back with a wife. Not overly young, but I'm always suspicious of any single guys "vacationing" in places like Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc.So were these alarmingly young looking women, or what was the draw of the Philippines?

Happens all the time to people who can’t come to terms with themselves and social media use. You see it on Reddit a bunch as well. “Social media is terrible, that’s why XYZ is so much better than that scum Facebook/Twitter” even though it’s the same stuff different packaging.
They don’t want to be labeled with “those people” because they’re uppity about whatever social media they are using because it doesn’t have whatever bothers them about other platforms. Whether that be food pictures, political statements, profiles, or it’s not anonymous.
But they’re just as addicted to social media, it’s just called CycloneFanatic instead of Facebook, and that underlying human trait of addiction to being with other humans is why Social Media takes up the vast of internet consumption.
When it comes to algorithms, it sounds like the most significant outcome of Haugen's Senate testimony is the suggestion to amend section 230 to make Facebook liable for use/outcomes of its algorithms.
