Looks like RB was gonna get an extra 10 milli to put Yuki in the seat at beginning of the season and RB said no. After this Lawson stuff they went back and asked if they could still get it. They said sure if he’s in the seat by the Japan race.

Lando is not in the same league as Max.

Yikes. This crash could have been really bad. From the comments sounds like Doohan forgot to turn off the DRS going into the corner. Usually DRS closes automatically when you brake, but on this corner you are not breaking, so got turn DRS off manually.
Definition of a rookie mistake but Jack doesn't have much room to be working with unfortunately.
That was one where I was surprised how fast they showed it on the broadcast. It was a scary one, wonder what the g’s were.
Honestly lends even more to the “only Max can drive that car” theory.
He even looked great in Q1. Let’s see how the race goes and give him a little more time. Think it probably just a bad fluke.
